Art Contest: Reading Municipal Light Department is inviting HS students to enter its art contest to commemorate RMLD’s 125thanniversary. The first 50 students to register by June 15th will receive art supplies valued at up to $20.Each student who submits artwork by their August 30th deadline (due by 12:00 pm) will receive a certificate for 10 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE. Three to five winners will be selected based on the number of submissions received and the content of the artwork. Each winner will receive a gift card of up to $100 for qualified school or art supplies. One submission will be selected to be featured on the cover of RMLD’s Annual Report.

Relay for Life: The Relay For Life is next Friday, June 14th. Click the link for more information: Relay for Life.

Wildwood Family Fun Night: Wildwood is looking for student volunteers to help run the annual Family Fun Night on Thursday, June 6th (rain or shine) from 6-7:30pm in the Wildwood school back parking lot/playground area. There will be a bounce castle and giant inflatable slide which we need help monitoring/timing kids on and help applying temporary tattoos. There will also be giant bubbles, chalk and tony’s ice cream truck stopping by.

It’s a fun, easy night for kids to get any last minute community service hours in for the year! More the merrier!

The Drowsy Chaperone: WHS Lamplighters presents this “Musical within a Comedy.”  May 17 at 7pm, and May 18 at 2pm and 7pm in the Joanne Benton Auditorium.  Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, military, and senior citizens.

14th annual PanMass Challenge: Wilmington Kids Bike Ride on Sunday, May 19th.  We are looking for volunteers to help with: setup, breakdown, raffles, refreshments, road crew, face painting, and more.  Volunteers are needed from 7:30-11:30am at the Boutwell School in Wilmington.  Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt. To sign up:
